What Makes Us Different? We’re the only fitness-based learning program in the area. Your child gets a free gymnastics class every day they attend Gym-N-Learn Educational Preschool.

Gym-N-Learn Educational Preschool Schedule offers three days a week (MWF), Pre-K program for four and five-year-olds, two days a week (T/Th), Preschool program for three and four-year-olds and Ready-2-Learn, once-a-week for two-year-olds (parent participation required). (*If interested in a five-day Gym-N-Learn program, please contact us directly at 219.875.2274.) All children interested in our Gym-N-Learn Educational Program will have to meet the age requirement—Students must be three years of age before school starts for Gym-N-Learn and two years of age for Ready-2-Learn.

Our curriculum includes: LANGUAGE AND LISTENING- Letters and sounds, word recognition, reading readiness, and learning with music. MATH- Counting, recognizing numbers, learning phone numbers, and addresses. SCIENCE & SENSORY- How things look, feel, work, smell, and sound. FOREIGN LANGUAGE- Speaking Spanish using simple phrases, words, colors, and numbers. FINE MOTOR SKILLS- Working with puzzles, coloring, cutting, tracing, printing, and writing the alphabet. ART- Creative expression, working with colors, shapes, and textures TECHNOLOGY- Use age-appropriate software. GYMNASTICS- Gymnastics positions, various skills using uneven bars, balance beam, trampoline, and Tumbl Trak. All our teachers hold, minimally, a Bachelor of Elementary Education Degree.

Class Descriptions

2024-25 Fall Gym-N-Learn (Ages 3-6)

2.5 hours / $219-$440 per month

We offer your child an innovative, fitness-based learning program right here at Patti’s All-American.  Our educational preschool provides the lowest student-to-teacher ratio in NW Indiana.  Gym-N-Learn offers a well-rounded program with a strict emphasis on academic excellence. Children graduate from our program well-prepared for kindergarten. Our curriculum stresses letter recognition, introduction to at least twenty sight words, and numeral identification. Students complete basic patterning and rote count to twenty for ages three to five. Gym-N-Learn also can help prevent childhood obesity with nutritional lessons and gymnastics class each day. Instead of napping or having a snack… we exercise! Our program also offers Ready-2-Learn for parents and their two-year-olds. The preschool prep class involves parent and child activities that are designed to acclimate two-year-olds to the daily structure of school.  Our qualified professional teaching staff is led by Yesenia Vidal who has a B.A. in Elementary Education with a Kindergarten endorsement.

Precautions and procedures we utilize to keep your child safe

  1. Parent drop-off car service for parents with other children in the car.
  2. Children go straight to our hand washing station before going to the gym.
  3. We ask parents to take temperatures at home so that they won’t bring their children to school sick BUT we also take their temperatures in the car before they step foot in the building.
  4. We have lowered our class ratio size spreading the children out in the classroom.
  5. Extra clothing in their backpack is required as well as an extra mask. Just in case of any accidents.
  6. We sanitize hands every time they rotate in the gym to a different spot.
  7. Children stay in the same group in the gym and in the classroom.
  8. Each child is assigned their own supplies for the day. They are never sharing supplies.
  9. All school supplies are cleaned daily, (before – between classes- and after) as well as educational props. 
  10. Tables and chairs are disinfected between classes.

Required apparel - Red Gym-N-Learn polo, gymnastics shoes, and black shorts or comfy black sweatpants or regular pants. But no zippers, buttons, or pockets. Tuition is monthly. A $39 annual family membership fee may be due at the time of enrollment as well as the supply fee of $99 for two-day enrollment, $109 for three-day enrollment, and $125 for five-day enrollment (if interested in five-day enrollment - $325/mo, please contact the office at 219.865.2274.)

Ready-2-Learn (Ages 2-3)

This is a Parent and Tot Preschool program offered for 2 and 3-year-olds. The class consists of a 30-minute "parent and tot" gymnastics session and 30 minutes in the classroom creating crafts, working at our learning stations, storytime, and more. Gymnastics shoes are required. $135/mo. No supply fee.

Ages 5-7 -Kindergarten Boot Camp. This eight-week program (Tues/Wed/Thur 12-2:30pm) will combine education with gymnastics and fitness. It is just what your child needs to prepare them for the upcoming school year. We will focus on the beginning, middle, and ending sounds, simple sentence writing, practice site words, and math story problems. This program is perfect for kids going to Kindergarten next fall.

Required for summer registration is the annual membership fee of $39 (if currently due). Children must meet the age requirement (3 years of age) & be toilet trained before the start of school. No supply fee.
