Meet Robin Arvanitis

Dance Dept. Leader and Special Events Director

Miss Robin began dancing at the age of three.  She took locally until she was eight years old, and then continued training at Birmingham Southern College, Chicago City Ballet, Masi Ballet, Ruth Page, Ellis DuBoulay, and Lou Conte.  She was accepted at Joffrey Ballet of New York City in 1989, but decided to begin a teaching career instead.  Robin had her own studio until the spring of 1998 when she joined the staff at Patti’s All-American.  Robin has staged over 30 recitals, three professional Nutcrackers, four musicals, dance engagements from 1998 to present at Great America, and numerous parades.  Many of her students have gone on to dance at the University of Iowa, Butler, Northern Illinois, Barat College, and the Joffery Ballet of New York, and Chicago Ballet. Some of her students have performed in Showboat, the Arie Crown Nutcracker, and the Great America Review. Robin is certified with American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, and AED.  As well as being our Dance Dept. Leader, she also is the president of the Schererville Town Board, president of the Lions Club in Schererville, president of the Tri-Town Safety Village, a member of the Board of Directors of the Schererville Chamber of Commerce, and she sits on the board at Campana Academy. Robin lives in Schererville with her husband Tim and is mom to both Riley and Renn. In 2022, she was the recipient of the Northwest Indiana Influential Women Fine Arts Award.
