If they complete the mission by performing all skills in their level, they will progress to the next headband color. As they progress to each level, they will wear the corresponding headband. Below is the breakdown of level

  • White (Beginner)
  • Yellow (Advanced Beginner)
  • Green (Intermediate)
  • Blue (Intermediate 2)
  • Purple (Advanced)

*Prequalifications for headbands yellow through blue= Tested by a teacher prior to joining or have moved up in a mission.

How Missions Work

A mission is for the advancement of ninjas to move to the next color headband.

When ninjas are ready to move to the next level, the teacher will fill out an “Invitation to Mission card.” Missions are held every other Sunday afternoon. At their mission ninjas will be asked to perform the skills in their level at every spot in the gym.

A child’s progression is determined by their own pace, handing them the tools to shape their own experience. By letting children advance individually, within a defined and collaborative program, children of ages 3.5-11 years old receive more than athletic gifts. They’re strong, confident kids.
