The focus of skills for this level are: back walkovers, pike shoots, pike mounts, and front drops. After specific skills are completed, your child will move up to Intermediate II. She stays in her class but will work on mastering additional skills including: round-off back handsprings, beginner front tucks, front handspring dismounts, controlled dive rolls, and backdrop pullovers. She will also receive a “#2” design piece to be placed on her intermediate trophy. This signifies she is now in Intermediate II!

Apparel – Girls wear a leotard with or without elastic waist shorts or a unitard with gymnastics shoes. Gymnastics shoes are purchased at Patti’s All-American ($27.82).
