The tuition shown below is based on one class per week. A $39 annual family membership fee is due at the time of enrollment. There is a 15% discount for siblings or multiple classes.

Holiday Dance Recital Info
We want to make this holiday recital a memorable and fun experience for both parent and child! We hope you are just as excited as we are!
What is a recital? It’s a show that gives the students a chance to experience the performance portion of their dance education. This is their time to showcase their continued efforts in front of a live audience.
When is the recital? The recital will be on Sun, Dec. 15, 2024.
Where will the recital be? It will be held at The Halls of St. George, 905 E. Joliet St. Schererville, IN.
How long do recitals last? We plan on having four separate recitals for this December event. We are striving to keep each recital at approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

(Beginner & Advanced Beginner) Ages: 7 & up Beginner ballet includes work at the barre, across the floor, and center work. It involves the five basic positions of feet and arms, along with various turns, jumps, etc. This class is great for children to learn the discipline that dancers have in a fun and exciting way. The child will learn how to work well with others and improve fine and gross motor skills, such as hand-eye coordination while building strength and flexibility.
(Intermediate) Ages: 9 & up For a dancer with at least two years of training, the class will incorporate work at the barre, across the floor, and center work. It involves the five basic positions of feet and arms, along with various turns, jumps, etc. In this class there will be the addition of working with combinations, adagio work, as well as large jumps and beats. The dancer will benefit greatly from this class while building strength and flexibility.
(Advanced) Ages: 13 & up This class is designed for a dancer with at least 5 years of training. The class includes intricate combinations and variations as well as technical barre work. The dancer will benefit greatly from this class while building strength and flexibility.
Apparel - Black tank leotard, pink tights, black wrap skirt. Pink leather split-sole shoes will be an additional fee and ordered through Miss Robin.
Ballet Gymis a half dance – half gymnastics class.
Description: Breakdown 30 min. dance, 25 min. gymnastics. In the dance portion of this class, your child will begin with stretches and will work on the ballet barre as well as the center floor. Students will begin to put various combinations together and perform progressions across the floor, concluding the lesson with a song. During the gymnastics portion, they will learn to tumble using our spring floor and will learn various skills using the uneven bars, balance beam, trampoline, and Tumbl Trak. The child will learn how to work well with others and improve gross motor skills while building strength and flexibility.
Ballet Tap Jazzis an introduction to three types of dance – ballet, tap, and jazz.
Description: Breakdown 20 minutes Ballet, 20 minutes Jazz, 15 minutes Tap. This class gives students a combination of 3 types of dance! A ballet warm-up, barre work, and center. Jazz progressions and basic tap are included. This is a great introduction into the world of dance, enabling the children to get a taste of three different forms of dance in one class.
(Beginner) Ages: 7 and up This class is designed for the beginning jazz dancer. Following the warm-up the students will go on to work on their progressions across the floor, and combinations in the center of the room. The students will focus on body movements, character development, and isolation, using today’s popular modern steps. The child will learn how to work well with others and improve fine and gross motor skills, such as hand-eye coordination while building strength and flexibility.
(Intermediate) Ages: 9 yrs. and up This class is designed for the intermediate jazz dancer with at least 2 years of experience. Following the warm-up, the students will go on to work on their progressions across the floor, and combinations in the center of the room. The students will focus on body movements, character development, and isolation, using today’s popular modern steps. In this class, the teacher will also add leaps and technical turns to the curriculum. This is a great class to build strength and flexibility.
(Advanced) Ages: 13 and up This class is designed for the advanced jazz dancer with at least 5 years of dance experience. Following the warm-up the students will go on to work on their progressions across the floor, and combinations in the center of the room. The students will focus on body movements, character development, and isolation, using today’s popular modern steps. In this class the teacher will also add leaps and technical turns to the curriculum along with all major areas of jazz, including funk, modern, and technical jazz.
Pre-Qualifications- Students will be placed in the appropriate level by the instructor and according to ability.

This class will concentrate on strength-building and technical aspects of various leaps and turns. The student develops balance, strength, elevation, and body alignment. Your child will learn with step-by-step instructions that will produce outstanding leaps and turns. This is an excellent class for dancers who want to advance their skills.
Students will be placed in the appropriate level by the instructor according to ability. This class is for dancers who are already on pointe. They will focus on strength, relevé, extension, and development of the foot and leg.
Pre-Qualifications- Students must be 13 years of age, have teacher approval, and be enrolled in a ballet class. Placement for the appropriate level is determined by the instructor and according to ability.

This class is designed for any student interested in what one may call “music video” dance. Hip-Hop is a combination of jazz and funk combined with the technique called the pop-and-lock. Unlike jazz classes, however, hip-hop does not concentrate on leaps and turns, but rather on technical tricks. They dance to contemporary hip-hop, pop, and dance music. The entry-level will depend on the dance experience of the student. Move-ups to the next level will only be done by the instructor.
Lyrical class is a soft, flowing form of dance combining ballet, jazz, modern, emotion, and imagination. Lyrical is a newer form of dance that is becoming more popular because of its stage appeal and soothing quality. This class is for dancers transitioning from preschool to-school-age classes.
A school-age class for dancers who want to learn Pom technique. Leaps, turns, strong motions, jumps, and combinations while working with super fun poms!
