Meet Robin Arvanitis

Dance Department Leader & Community Champion

Miss Robin’s journey in dance began at the tender age of three. After starting with local lessons, she spent her formative years training at some of the most prestigious institutions in the country, including the Chicago City Ballet, Ruth Page, and Lou Conte. In 1989, she reached a major milestone when she was accepted into the Joffrey Ballet of New York City; however, she chose to follow her heart into teaching, sharing her passion with the next generation instead.

A Legacy of Excellence

After running her own successful studio, Robin joined the Patti’s All-American family in 1998. Since then, she has been a creative powerhouse, staging:

  • Over 35 annual recitals
  • Three professional productions of The Nutcracker
  • Four musicals and decades of performances at Great America

Her impact is best seen through her students, many of whom have gone on to prestigious dance programs at Butler and the University of Iowa, or performed professionally in the Arie Crown Nutcracker and with the Chicago Ballet.

Dedicated to Schererville

Robin’s leadership extends far beyond the dance floor. She is deeply committed to her community, serving as the Vice-President of the Schererville Town Board and President of the Chamber of Commerce. Whether she is leading the Lions Club, presiding over the Tri-Town Safety Village, or delivering meals for Meals on Wheels, Robin is a true local advocate.

Her incredible work has not gone unnoticed. She was honored with the Northwest Indiana Influential Women (NWIIW) Fine Arts Award in 2022, and more recently, the 2024 Up and Coming Award in Economics and Government.

At Home

When she isn’t teaching or serving the town, Robin loves spending time in Schererville with her husband, Tim, and their two children, Riley and Renn.
