Karate All Star Belt Program

Our new Karate All-Stars belt program is designed to help track your child’s progress and provide clear benchmarks indicating what skills your child has learned and what skills they need to obtain in order to earn the next belt rank.

In order for your child to earn the next belt level he/she must obtain all of the skills in

Six Categories in the Karate All Star Program:

•   Kicking Techniques

•   Blocking Techniques

•   Punching Techniques

•   Stances

•   Shorei-ryu Knowledge

•   Japanese Terminology

Your child will be given a report card with six categories containing check boxes. When your child has obtained the necessary skills they will receive their next belt rank.  The report cards will be kept here. Your child will be given the report card at the beginning of the class and it will be collected at the end of class. When Sensei has checked all items in a category your child will receive a star to place on their belt for that category.  The color of the stars indicates the next belt rank. When your child has earned six stars, your child will be ready to test for the next belt rank.  Testing time will be at Sensei Anthony’s discretion and based on numerous factors including attendance, attitude and the number of students ready to test.
