Birthday Party FAQs
Q. How many total children are included in the party?
A. It depends on the party package selected:
• All-American Silver Medal Party – (ages 3-12) – Maximum of 12 guests
• All-American Gold Medal Party – (ages 3-12) – Maximum of 12 guests
Note:
• The birthday child is not included in the guest count – She/He is our guest of honor.
• We do not include parents, guardians, teachers, and chaperones in your guest total.
• We do not include children under the age of three in your guest total.
• Please add $10 per child for each additional guest after the twelfth child.
Q. Will my party have a party host the entire time of my party?
A. Most definitely. Your party host is with your party from start to finish. Your party host is there to greet your guests and will lead your party with a variety of fun games and activities. Your host will set-up your party room, serve your guests, and assist you in any way possible to make your party the ULTIMATE birthday party experience! Your host will help carry your gifts to the car and will take care of all the clean-up too! She will even write the names of your guests and their gift given if you’d like.
Q. Am I allowed to tip the party host?
A. Tipping is appreciated but only if you feel the party host has given outstanding service and helped to make your party run smoothly. Tipping is not required.
Q. What decorations am I allowed?
A. All-American allows any table decorations such as balloons, napkins, paper plates, cups and tablecloths. Please note that All-American does provide (free of charge) plastic table liners for all tabletops and we provide generic paper plates, napkins, and plastic forks if you choose the All-American Gold Medal Pizza Party. We do provide a happy birthday banner for your birthday child to be displayed at the party. However, we do not allow any wall hanging decorations or piñatas.
Q. What type of food is allowed at the birthday party?
A. Cupcakes, juice boxes, and ice-cream cups work best as treats during your birthday party. If you are choosing the All-American Gold Medal Pizza Party only pizza will be provided. We do have a refrigerator to keep your drinks cold and a small freezer, too.
Q. Can we serve alcohol for the adults?
A. Because our birthday parties are for children, there is no alcohol allowed. Also, there is no smoking permitted anywhere on the premises.
Q. How early should we arrive for the birthday party?
A. We suggest at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled birthday party time. This will help you in collecting the waivers and any last minute instructions to the birthday host that may be necessary. If you should arrive too early, your party may need to wait in our lobby. Your birthday party will start on time, so please remind your guests to arrive on time.
Q. What about invitations?
A. All-American supplies you with party invitations. Each invitation provides your guest with a map to our facility and a reminder of what to wear while attending the party. A waiver for each guest is included on the invitation. Each guest must bring that wavier (filled out by a parent) to participate in the gym portion of the party.
Q. Do you need separate waivers for each child, even if they are in the same family?
A. No. All immediate family members can have their names on the same waiver. We have plenty on hand if a child forgets to bring theirs.
Q. What should guests wear to the party?
A. Your guests should wear comfortable clothes – t-shirt with shorts and clean gym shoes or gymnastics leotards with gymnastics shoes. It’s best not to wear anything with buttons, buckles, zippers, belts or rivets. Also, please remove all jewelry. If your guests have long hair, it needs to be put it in a ponytail if possible.
Q. Will I be charged for infants or adults attending the party?
A. Of course not. Each type of party has age requirements. Infants, children under the age of three, and parents are considered spectators at the party. They are to remain in the lobby area and not in the gym during the first part of the party. However, they can participate during the last half of the birthday celebration when the group moves into one of the private party areas in our facility.
Q. Will I be sharing the gym with other classes or parties?
A. There could be another party in our gym at the same time. However, the other party will be with their party host and will be on other equipment. We do not schedule classes during birthday parties.
Q. What do I need to do to reserve my party?
A. All of our packages require a nonrefundable $50.00 deposit. This $50.00 deposit is applied towards the total cost of your party. The balance of your party package is paid by Friday 7pm before your party. A member of our customer service team will count the number of guests attending and then ask for your payment at the end of the party.
Q. Is my deposit refundable?
A. I’m sorry . . . no. You may cancel your party and use the deposit money toward tuition, merchandise, or any special event. You can even reschedule your party!
Q. What if I need to change the date of my party or my party package type?
A. No problem. A party date can be switched provided we have a date available for you. A party package can be switched, if we can fit it in our schedule and we can accommodate you with a party host.
